The Friendly Bookshelf Is off to the Printer!

Updated: Aug 23, 2021

4 years ago, we made a lifelong dream of ours come true by publishing our first picture book, The Blossom Shoppe. 4 years later, it is with the greatest excitement that we share that our newest children's picture book, The Friendly Bookshelf, has been sent off to the printer!

Because of your support, Bibli's inspiring story will soon be offset printed to be of the highest quality. The hardcover book will be 8.5x11in in size with a durable dust jacket, colorful end pages with a spot for your child to write their name, and 32 beautifully illustrated pages that will engage the imaginations of children and adults alike. There are lots of important steps to the printing process that we are taking to ensure you receive a book that can be treasured for many years to come! For those that are curious, here is a full outline of how the printing process will work to bring Bibli's story to life! 1. The final pdf of the book is sent to our printer (Check!) 2. Our printer will create digital proofs of the book 3. Once digital proofs are reviewed and approved, our printer will print and ship wet proofs (a printed proof used to ensure color accuracy!) 4. Once wet proofs are reviewed and approved, our printer will print and ship prototypes of the final book 5. Once the prototypes are reviewed and approved, our printer will proceed with printing the first 1,000 copies of Bibli's story! 6. And last but not least, our printer will ship Bibli's story to us to be packaged and sent to you!
