We are donating The Friendly Bookshelves to Libraries Across America — Recommend Your Library!

Friends, we cannot believe tomorrow is Thanksgiving! Bibli’s story will officially be released only a few days after this holiday of gratitude and friendship on November 30th.

Just like the holiday it is being released so soon after, The Friendly Bookshelf hopes to spread positive messages of friendship and inspire kindness and inclusion. To spread these messages far and wide, we decided early on that we would set aside a portion of books to be donated to libraries that are in need of extra books for their youngest patrons. We are able to donate even more than we anticipated as a large number of people who preordered the book also generously purchased additional books to have donated. ❤️

We’ve begun to donate books already, but now are in need of some suggestions! Do you know of a library that could use some books this holiday season? Please send us your recommendation in the comments or through a direct message — please make sure to include the address and email of those you are recommending!

Some notes about recommendations: While we would love to donate to all libraries, we 1) have a limited amount available to donate, 2) are specifically donating to those that are underresourced and are in need of extra books, and 3) are only able to donate books within the US. We hope to be able to donate more books in the future across the world and your continued support will help make this possible. ❤️

Always be your-shelf! 📚
